1) Tell someone about your business in 7 or 10 second flat, without hype and silly claims.  And in words any 13-year old can understand. Without pressuring the other person or putting yourself in the way of personal rejection.

2) Tell someone about your product, in 7-10 seconds flat, without hype or claims no one believes. Or that you can't live up to.  And in words a 13-year old can understand?

Plus...Language for the Holiday scenarios...

1. You're at the dinner table, and you're introduced to someone.  They ask you, "So, Lulu, what do you do?"

2. You see a relative who knows you're in the business, but they never responded to your overtures this past year.  What could you say that would cause the person to give you a referral?

3.  You haven't made money yet, and you see a relative who has a big set of friends.  You are dying to tell him about your business.  What should you say?

Bring your own situations and if we have time, we'll cook up something right in class.  We'll focus exclusviely on showing you how to get the word out - as if you were a new cardiologist, letting people know you've just hung up your shingle.  Or, as if you were looking for tennis players. The more people know what you do, the better.  So they can refer folks your way.
